Automatic 2026 Calendar Opening: What It Means and How to Prepare

We’re getting ready to open your 2026 calendar, and this year, Holidu will take care of it automatically; helping you stay ahead, save time, and boost your visibility for early bookers.

With travelers already searching for 2026 vacations, properties that are prepared early see significantly more traffic and bookings.

What is the 2026 Calendar Opening?

Each year, Holidu helps you prepare for the upcoming season by opening your calendar for the following year and copying your most recent prices — saving you valuable time.

For 2026, the automatic calendar and price copy will take place on June 16, 2025.

Here’s what will happen:

• Your 2025 prices will be automatically copied into your 2026 calendar
• Prices will be adjusted for key holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter
• All existing blocked dates and confirmed bookings will remain unchanged
• Any prices you have already configured for 2026 will remain untouched — we will not overwrite existing pricing seasons

This process is designed to help you stay visible, attract early bookings, and keep your calendar updated — while still giving you full control to make changes if needed.

Why It Matters

By opening your calendar early, you can:

• Fill your booking calendar much earlier
• Significantly increase the visibility of your listing across all major portals
• Attract travelers who plan in advance, such as families and international guests

How to Opt Out of Automatic Price Copying

You have full control over your calendar and pricing strategy.

If you'd prefer to manage your availability and rates on your own schedule, you can easily opt out of the automatic update.

To do so, simply deactivate the automatic copy by June 15, 2025.

This ensures your calendar remains untouched and gives you the flexibility to set your 2026 pricing manually.

How to opt out:

1. Log in to your Holidu Homes account
2. Go to Properties > Prices
3. Look for the banner displayed on each relevant property
4. Click “Deactivate” if you do not want the automatic price copy for that listing

Important:

• The banner is shown per affected property — so be sure to check all your listings individually
• If you don’t see a banner on a property, it should mean that 2026 prices are already configured

How to Copy Prices Yourself

You can copy your existing prices manually using our “Reuse previous seasons” tool.

To do this:

1. Log in to your Holidu Homes account
2. Navigate to Properties > Configuration > Rates.
3. Select “Reuse previous seasons” to carry over your 2025 pricing to 2026.
4. Adjust prices or date ranges as needed.

Additional tips:

• Modify your rates or create new pricing periods at any time
• View and edit all pricing details via Properties > Configuration > Pricing
• Block already-booked dates in 2026 to avoid double bookings
• Delete unnecessary blocks to improve your listing’s visibility
