Johnstown Estate Holiday Lodges DescriptionLocated within the 120-acre grounds of the historic Johnstown Estate, Johnstown Estate Holiday Lodges are set in peaceful countryside overlooking the River Blackwater.
The estate is nestled between the villages of Johnstownbridge and Enfield in County Meath and is approximately 35 minutes from Dublin City and Dublin International Airport.
These self-catering holiday lodges provide a comfortable base for families or small groups, offering the space and flexibility of a holiday home with convenient access to on-site hotel facilities. Johnstown Estate Holiday Lodges – Sleeps 4These self-catering holiday lodges provide a comfortable and flexible base for families or small groups, making them suitable for family holidays, short breaks or small group getaways, with convenient access to on-site hotel facilities.
Property layout – Ground floor: - Fully fitted oak and granite kitchen - Open plan living and dining area with seating for up to 4 guests - Patio doors leading to a private terrace Property layout – First floor: - Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2 or twin sleeping 2 - Family bathroom WiFi is available throughout the holiday lodges.
A large outdoor playground is located beside the lodges and is available for guests travelling with children.
Guests staying at Johnstown Estate Holiday Lodges can avail of a range of on-site hotel facilities, including a 20-metre swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
The estate also features an award-winning spa with over 18 treatment rooms.
The holiday lodges are located directly adjacent to the hotel.
There are several dining options available on-site, including FIRE & SALT steak and seafood restaurant and The Coach House Bar. Dog-friendly AccommodationThis is a dog-friendly holiday home.
A maximum of 2 dogs is permitted per stay and must be booked in advance.

Heating and Electricity: Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply.
If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.
If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.
If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways: • Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager.
Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property. • Pay As You Go electricity meter.
The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.
Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking. 2.
Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/Owner.
This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival.
In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property. 3.
On-Site Facilities: Use of hotel leisure and spa facilities is subject to availability and any operational guidelines in place at the time of your stay. 4.
Bedding Configuration: Bedroom layouts may vary between lodges.
Requests for specific bed configurations should be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability. 5.
Dog-Friendly Lodge Stay - Guest Rules & Guidelines: General Rules: - A maximum of 2 dogs per lodge is allowed. - A non-refundable charge of €40 per dog, per day applies. - Only dogs under 35kg are permitted, unless otherwise approved in advance. - Dogs must be house-trained, well behaved, and not prone to excessive barking. - Dogs are not permitted inside the main hotel building, spa, or leisure areas.
Cleanliness & Respect for Property: - Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both indoors and outdoors. - Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture - please bring your own dog bed or crate. - Any damage or excessive cleaning required will incur additional cleaning fees from €75.
On the Grounds: - Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside the lodge. - Please use clearly marked dog walking areas and dispose of waste in the provided bins. - Be considerate of other guests, especially children and those who may be uncomfortable around dogs.
We reserve the right to: - Refuse accommodation or ask dogs to leave if they are aggressive or disruptive. - Charge a damage fee starting at €150 for any significant damage caused by pets.
