This timber-framed farmhouse, which will be renovated over several years using traditional and natural materials by spring 2022, is located just outside the city of Zurich. It is surrounded by partly old fruit trees, dry stone walls, rough pastures and agricultural land. The mown meadow garden, the large gravelled area in front of the kitchen and living room and the raised terrace invite you to relax and enjoy. The view extends from the city of Zurich across Lake Zurich to the distant mountains, some of which are still covered in snow in summer.
The house is particularly suitable for nature lovers and/or people interested in culture, but also for hikers or bikers.
Sights in nature (wilderness park, Hochwachtturm, Türlersee ..) and in the city of Zurich are easily accessible on foot, by bike or by car, a post bus stop is about 500 metres from the house.
The wilderness park is a 10-minute walk away, the Türlersee (nature reserve, restaurant with bathing area and stand-up paddling facilities) can be reached on foot in 40 minutes or by bike in 15 minutes.
Various ski areas are located in the surrounding area:
Sattel 40 minutes by car, Bruni 45 minutes, Stoos 47 minutes, Hochybrig 50 minutes, Flumserberg, Toggenburg, Engelberg and Hasliberg can be reached in around1 1/4 hours by car.
