The Gliget gîte offers, first and foremost, an incredible panoramic view of the mountains in the Aspe Valley, in the Béarn Pyrenees.
Perched on a promontory, this detached house overlooks the surrounding countryside, and its 40 m² terrace faces unspoiled nature, 3 km from the village of Lourdios-Ichère.
You are on a working farm; the owners' farm is located below (sheep and dairy cows, farm cheese for sale).
Recently renovated, the interior offers all modern comforts, beautiful materials, and a clean, modern, and welcoming decor.
Ground floor: 40 m² living area including:
- Kitchen island (refrigerator, dishwasher, combination hob with 2 gas burners and 2 induction burners, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, raclette and fondue set)
- Lounge area (wood-burning stove, TV). No internet connection, but good 4G coverage for your smartphones.
- Bathroom (large shower, sink, toilet, washing machine).
- 1 bedroom (1 double bed).
Storage room in outbuildings (freezer).
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms:
- 1 bedroom (2 double beds).
- 1 bedroom (1 double bed, direct access to the courtyard via French doors).
- 1 bedroom (1 queen bed).
- Bathroom (large shower, sink). Separate toilet.
Beds made upon arrival.
Towels available for rent.
Baby equipment available. Electric heating is extra (meter reading), firewood is extra (first fire included). Large terrace with panoramic views, garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers.
Private parking in the courtyard. Numerous hiking trails are accessible from this location.
Farm visits are possible on-site; sheep's cheese is available for purchase. Mountain road; remember to bring snow tires or chains in winter.

L'accueil de Fabienne et de sa famille à été très chaleureux. Le gîte est très bien équipé. Lors de ce séjour en famille, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ! Nous avons profité de la terrasse et de son point de vue magnifique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Excellent séjour au coeur des montagnes et à proximité de la ferme. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille, nous recommandons l'endroit pour un dépaysement total, très ressourçant ! Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux qui nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous.

Notre bémol est dû principalement aux conditions météo. Il faut quand même savoir que ce gîte est au fin fond de la montagne et oblige à faire de la voiture au moindre déplacement.Si non accueil formidable par des hôtes particulièrement sympathiques.
