The name ‘Augenweide’ (feast for the eyes) was not chosen by chance: The approximately 38 square metre, cosy flat really does offer a view that can rightly be described as a ‘feast for the eyes’. If you like, you can admire the mountain scenery around the ‘Waxenstein’ and ‘Daniel’ from your bed. If you lie comfortably on a lounger, you also have the beautiful ‘Alpspitz’ in view.
The flat is at ground level and has a terrace with a wooden table and chairs - having breakfast or a sundowner here while looking out over the meadows, forests and mountain scenery is an uplifting feeling.
Pure luxury.
That's why it doesn't matter that the flat doesn't have a sumptuous interior.
It doesn't have to be to feel at home here.
The furnishings are functional, solid, with space-saving folding beds and a corner bench typical of the area, all geared towards cosiness.
The kitchen and sanitary facilities are clean and practical.
The ‘feast for the eyes’, however, is revealed when you look through the large window or the glass door. The house is located on the outskirts of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
It is about two kilometers to the town center.
The advantage is: an unobstructed view of meadows, forests and mountains.
In front of the house (to the west) passes the small Riessersee road with little traffic.
The house is a somewhat older building, which is still in very good shape and in which there are eight apartments.
Directly in front of the house (towards the west) is a meadow.
In autumn it is sometimes used as a cow or sheep pasture, which means that there are times when cow bells audibly jingle.
The location of the house is ideal for joggers, cyclists, skiers and cross-country skiers.
The groomed cross-country ski trail (Hausberg - Hammersbach, classic and skating) is even right outside the front door.
It is a non-smoking flat, pets are not allowed. Check-in is possible from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival.
The front door key is in a key safe at the house, the code is sent to the guest(s) three days before arrival. Check-out until 11.00 am on the day of departure.

Ob Winter oder Sommer. Es ist ein traumhafter Blick. Zum Riessersee schafft es fast jeder zu Fuß.
Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist mit Norma auch schnell fußläufig erreichbar. Ebenso ein Bus in das Ortszentrum, nach Partenkirchen, Grainau, Eibsee.
Die Küche ist mit Utensilien hervorragend ausgestattet.
Ein Hinweis zur Mülltonne wäre nötig. Dann muss nicht alles bis zur Endreinigung warten.
