Accommodation description
Enjoy a lovely place in this characteristic fisherman's house for 6 people. Located right on the Wadden Sea, this house offers tranquillity, comfort and stunning views of the dyke. With a spacious living room, fully equipped large kitchen, an atmospheric gas fireplace, three bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, it is the perfect place to relax. Explore the surroundings via hiking and cycling paths, take a mudflat walk, or relax in the private garden. Pure nature and luxury in one!
We are proud of an extraordinary place in the middle of the meadows with land and arable farming, next to the dike and the Wadden Sea. Enjoy nature here with beautiful light, peace, rhythm, and regularity. You only have to run up the dike to enjoy the expansive view. You can follow kilometers of existing walking and cycling routes across the dike. Good weather is not necessary here as the mudflats are always fantastic, and the house is lovely and warm partly because of the large gas fireplace and heating, which you can use all year round. A spacious garden that is half-fenced. The whole area around the house (the long dike and the Wadden Sea) is your backyard, where you can go crabbing, mudflat hiking, or dream away with the lovely view of the mudflats. Don't forget the fresh air here that instantly revives you. Entertainment is plentiful in nearby towns such as Harlingen, Franeker, and Leeuwarden
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine.

Das man mit einem großen Hund zu Fuß nicht soweit kommt, da es Absperrungen für die Schafe gibt ! Ich habe einen Hund der 45 kg wiegt den ich nicht mal eben da drüber heben kann ! Brauchte schon mal ein Auto um mal andere Wege zu gehen ! Spaziergänge am Deich sehr begrenzt! Sehr schade !

Das Haus liegt direkt hinter dem Deich, von dem aus man das Meer sehen kann. wir haben die Orte Harlingen und Sneek sowie den Anschlussdeich und das dortige Museum besucht. Die Mahlzeiten haben wir vor der Reise geplant und entsprechend eingekauft. Das stellte sich als gute Entscheidung heraus.
