Cycling and walking along rivers, castles, country houses, nature reserves, and cozy villages.
Besides Nieuwleusen, Dalfsen, Hattem, Staphorst, Giethoorn, Meppel, and Ommen are definitely worth a visit.

We hebben ontzettend van ons lange weekend in 'De Heeresteeg' genoten. Wat een rustige omgeving, een leuke verrassing dat ze zoveel diertjes hebben (schapen, kippen, geiten) en hartelijk ontvangst met lekkers. Het gezin was zó gastvrij, deelde leuke tips voor restaurants, hotspots en must sees en we voelden ons hier 3 dagen echt helemaal thuis.

Wij hebben samen met onze twee kinderen een heerlijk verblijf gehad in de Heeresteeg. Het huisje is precies zo mooi als op de foto's, schoon en de jongens vonden hun slaapzolder geweldig. We genoten van de ruimte rondom het huis, de dieren en de verse eitjes. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!
