Detached house in the charming village of Aydius, Aspe Valley, facing the Bergon peak.
Terrace with breathtaking views.
Excellent exposure. Numerous hikes start from the village, the most famous being the one leading to the heart-shaped Lake Montagnon, a jewel of the Pyrenees. Garden level: - Entrance - 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds) - Bathroom (washing machine). WC. Upstairs: The living area opens onto a south-facing terrace with an awning (stunning views) - Living room/lounge area (TV, fireplace/wood-burning stove, small Bluetooth speaker, fiber optic Wi-Fi internet connection) - Fully equipped kitchen (oven and microwave, dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer) - Shower room/WC. 1 bedroom (1 double bed). Duvets, duvet covers, and pillowcases are provided for each bed. You only need to bring your own sheets or rent them. Table linen is provided.
Windows are equipped with mosquito nets.
Board games are available for children. Electric heating is extra (meter reading). Firewood is provided for €15 per stay. The property is not fenced and includes garden furniture and a barbecue.
A large terrace offers magnificent mountain views. Paulette welcomes you with her delicious garbure (a traditional Pyrenean soup) upon arrival. Private parking is available below the house, or free parking is available in the village square, 30 meters away. Trout fishing is available in the Gabarret stream, which runs through the Cazaubon district.
Goat farms (producing local cheese) are located below the village.
A visit to the Maison des Mémoires (House of Memories) is possible in the village (free admission). The village festival takes place the first weekend of August.

Gîte qui ne manque de rien, très propre. Au calme dans un charmant village, avec une vue superbe. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à l'écoute de leurs locataires. La garbure offerte à l'arrivée est ecellente ++++ Espérons y retourner encore !!

Vivre devant un tel panorama, prendre ses repas, découvrir ce petit village d'altitude..., observer les vautours, c'est... grandiose. Le gite est bien avec sa terrasse face à la montagne. Dépaysement garanti ! Excellent accueil des propriétaires.
