Roxby, a cottage near Pooley Bridge has an enviable location where the garden stretches right to the banks of the River Eamont.
This continues its journey past the cottage to Lake Ullswater.
Being all ground floor, the bungalow provides spacious family accommodation perfect for those who struggle with stairs.
Furnished and equipped to a high standard, guests can relax in the spacious lounge, on warm, sunny days, open the picture windows framing the view over the garden to the river and bring the outdoors in or enjoy a glass of wine on the patio next to the river.
Linger a while with a cuppa in the bright, sunny breakfast room and plan your days adventure.
On the days you prefer not to cook in the well equipped kitchen, head into Pooley Bridge, a 2 minute walk and dine at one of the inns, cafes or bistro. Pooley Bridge Accommodation The bungalow has central heating and comprises: Lounge with picture windows looking out over the garden to the river, comfy sofas around the Smart TV and gas fire.

Pooley Bridge sits on the north eastern shores of Lake Ullswater, known as the most romantic lake in the Lake District. Being only a 15 minute drive from Penrith and the M6, it is easily reached and holidaymakers flock to the pretty village to admire the scenery, sit outside with a refreshing pint at one of the Inns serving locally brewed ales, enjoy afternoon teas on the banks of the river or to wonder around the shops.
