On the border of Berry and Creuse, in the heart of the Vallée Noire, the land of writer George Sand, near La Châtre and Aigurande, nestled in the countryside and secluded at the end of a lane, this cottage is ideal for numerous hikes and peaceful, relaxing activities.
It is surrounded by meadows and woods, and a stream runs through the lower part of the property behind the house.
Children will be safe here as the nearest roads are far away. The highlights: Just 5 km away is a water sports center (open from late April to late October) with a water ski lift and numerous other activities such as swimming, a BMX track, disc golf, and pétanque, as well as an 18-hole golf course and a spa. This renovated traditional Berry farmhouse offers a peaceful retreat for families and friends, complete with a large private garden. Ground floor: large living room (wood-burning stove), fully equipped kitchen, utility/laundry room, shower room with walk-in shower, toilet with washbasin, and a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm). Upstairs: one bedroom with four single beds (90 cm), one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and two single beds (90 cm), or one bedroom with two single beds (90 cm), and a separate toilet. Large garden, private parking, and terrace. Heating is provided by a heat pump and wood for the stove (included in the rental price). (Price). Baby equipment provided upon request (high chair, booster seat, travel cot with mattress, baby bath, changing mat, potty, and toilet seat reducer). Salon un peu petit malgré une belle taille de la pièce , manque un canapé ou quelques fauteuils en plus. Déco un peu trop sobre. Tables dans la salle à manger basses.

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour familial très paisible malgré la pluie.
Le gîte est très bien équipé et notre hôte a été très réactive à chacune de nos sollicitations.
De beaux espaces aussi bien en intérieur qu'en extérieur.
