Located in the beautiful medieval city of Lucca, Tuscany, the charming holiday apartment “La terrazza di Sofia” is ideal for travellers who wish to explore the local culture while enjoying a relaxing holiday.
The property is in the heart of Lucca’s historic centre, within the old city walls and close to the Lucca Cathedral.
The 80 m² apartment consists of a living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 5 people.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, streaming services, a fan and a washing machine. The apartment features a private outdoor area with an open terrace, furnished with a dining table, chairs and a sun umbrella.
Numerous restaurants are within walking distance, especially in Piazza del Giglio; the owner recommends Antica Locanda dell’Angelo, Ristorante il Giglio and Gli Orti di Via Lisa.
The nearest bar is 122 metres away, while the supermarket is 461 metres away.
Lucca train station can be reached in 5 minutes on foot and the nearest airport is about 36 km away. The apartment is in a restricted traffic zone, so you must leave your car outside the old city walls, where several parking options are available just a 5-minute walk away.

The view from the terrace and accessibility to train station to see top sites in Tuscany.Enjoyed walking around the walls, wandering the streets of Lucca, park run, antique and flower markets and going to the opera. And of course the delicious food.
The beams were quite low and banged head several times. Could do with a handrail going up to the terrace.

Het lage plafond in de badkamer boven en de piepkleine douche maar het is maar voor een paar dagen

Apartment is so close to the train station, only about a 6 minute walk so days out sightseeing and train transfers to and from airport were so easy. Bakery, restaurants and shops are all within a short walk. Roof terrace was a lovely feature.
The sofa bed was very hard and we had to try and pad it out with blankets as it was uneven with ridges.
