Cabine 56 is a nice little flat facing the sea at the entrance of the Port of Marseille, the Mucem, the Major Cathedral and the emblematic district of the Panier. Atypical, one can believe to be in a big boat cabin, the sea being visible from everywhere, and even from the bed. This flat is located in one of the most famous buildings of the architect Fernand Pouillon, classified as a historical monument. Tastefully renovated in 2021, it is a sought-after place to discover Marseille.
Composition of the flat:
The flat consists of 2 rooms connected by a corridor with sea view. The entrance is in the kitchen with a table for lunch or dinner for two. The hallway across the whole width of the flat offers a magnificent sea view from where you can admire the boats entering the port or those at the quay. At the end of the corridor is the bedroom with a large bed and a large wardrobe. The plus point is the sea view from the bed.
The access to the flat is a little surprising as you have to go downstairs when you enter the building, but the view will make you forget about it.
The flat is fully equipped to make you feel at home: Wifi / Nespresso coffee machine / Free coffee capsules
The cocooning service:
You will be welcomed on site in a personalized way by a person of the Cocoonr Marseille agency who will present you the accommodation, answer your questions and give you the keys.

Several bus lines are nearby. The Metro is a 10 minute walk away. The 3 motorways are accessible in a few minutes.
The airport is accessible by shuttle bus to the Saint Charles train station but we advise you to use taxis or Uber.

Der Weg durch den Keller war erst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber dann ok. Toilette ist nur für kleine Leute und statt Tür nur einem Duschvorhang. Dafür war die Lage einmalig und man konnte vom Bett das Meer sehen.

Location, view, spacious, good lighting
Entrance - very dark, poor lighting, bad smells / dirty, inside was not properly cleaned, lots of dust. No door on the toilet and boiler above the head, very tight and uncomfortable. Bed had no sheets or pillowcases.
