Information about the host
The history of our farm goes back around 200 years. Much has changed over the decadesand we, too, have contributed with great enthusiasm to creating a harmonious environment for our guests. From the very beginning, we loved the idea of sharing our holiday farm with guests and playing a small part in ensuring that a stay at Holderbusch provides renewed energy and leaves lasting, happy memories.
To make sure your holiday gets off to a perfect start, we offer a stocked refrigerator upon arrival, filled with regional, honest productsnot from the supermarket, but sourced from small dairies, butchers, and bakeries.
We have furnished our holiday apartment as if we lived in it ourselves. To be honest, in terms of location it is the true gem of the farm. From the east-facing balcony, you can watch the sunrise as the entire Ammergau mountain range glows in breathtaking beauty. And with a view of our natural garden, you can let your thoughts wander freely. Our furniture is made of solid wood, and the beds and mattresses are of genuinely high quality. The apartment combines traditional Alpine coziness with modern comfort, offering you a home away from home where you can truly feel at ease.
Stretching between the medieval old town of Füssen with its nearby royal castles, Falkenstein near Pfronten, and the castle ruins of Eisenberg and Hohenfreyberg lies a hiking area as diverse as few others. Well-signposted and clearly marked trails, a hiker-friendly host, and special services for walkers are our invitation to all guests. Our aim is to show you the treasures of the Allgäu from hereon foot.We have put together a hiking folder with selected tours in the immediate surroundings to spark your enthusiasm for hiking. One thing we especially like to encourage our guests to do? Leave the car behind. A wide variety of excursions and countless hikes start right at the farm.
But its not only hikers who will find plenty to enjoy here. Our region boasts a high recreational value and offers something for everyone. In the nearby lake district, all kinds of water sports can be enjoyed, and culture lovers will also find plenty to explore. Cycling and mountain biking are possible on numerous bike paths throughout the entire region.
But what is especially close to our hearts is creating an environment where you can truly pause and unwind. For this reason, we encourage our guests to stay a little longer than just a few days. Take the time to gaze at the sky, leave everyday life behind in our garden with its many seating areas, read a good bookand above all, simply try doing nothing for once.

Rates and Conditions:
Prices are plus the local tourist tax.
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM or by arrangement.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
In case of cancellation, 90% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
A deposit of 80% of the total price is required immediately after booking.
The remaining balance can be paid on-site in cash or transferred in advance.
No refund is given for early departure.
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
If booking is made less than 3 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid in cash upon arrival. Card payments are not possible.
Pets are allowed on request, with a fee of 7.50 per day per dog.

Please enter 87629 Füssen as the town and Benkener Weg 9 as the street.
Coming from Ulm/Memmingen:
Leave the A7 at the Füssen exit. Turn left onto the B310 towards Pfronten/Kempten. Follow the road in the direction of Pfronten along Lake Weißensee. After a winding ascent, the federal road is crossed by a small bridge. Once you have passed under the bridge, take the second turn on the left towards Benken. After about one kilometer, the second house on the left is your destination.
Arrival by train:
You can either travel from Kempten to Pfronten-Weißbach station, or from other directions to Füssen station. From there, we are happy to pick you up. Please let us know your arrival time in advance.

Use the Deutsche Bahn luggage service and enjoy a more relaxed journey!

Hier wird Gastfreundschaft noch großgeschrieben uns wurde jeder mögliche Wunsch erfüllt und man bekommt einen Einblick in einen Milchviehbetrieb. Zusätzlich wurde noch Pony reiten und Traktor fahren geboten. Es gab eine schöne Hofführung. Frische Milch und Eier und einen Frühstücksservice. Viele Ka...
