The Family Hideaway is situated in the middle of a very quiet neighborhood called Echerntal. It is surrounded by a lovely garden and feels like “a real Home away from Home” - just like our award-winning pioneer - Hallstatt Hideaway. During the development of this accommodation, we have focused particularly on the needs and wishes of families with small children. Our house offers two apartments. One is located on the ground floor and comes with a lovely garden. The apartment on the first floor has a veranda attached. Both apartments fascinate with a breathtaking mountain view. In summertime you can watch the cows graze on the lovely meadows behind the house. We have developed the Family Hideaway for families with small children to experience a perfect stay in Hallstatt. Travelling with large of baggage is no problem here. Almost like home, cars can be parked just in front of the house. But also for guests arriving by train, everything that small children need is available in the house. From baby cot, changing mat, a child seat for the toilet, high chair, a carpet to play on, baby blankets, toys and painting utensils as well as cutlery for small ones – we've really thought of everything. Directly from the house you can walk either to the lake or take a walk in the wonderful walk. It is also exciting to visit the salt mine. You can easily reach the cable car to the mountain by feet.

Cancellation - 7 days before arrival 100% - until 8 days before arrival 70% - At the booking we charge 30% Payment - Upon making a reservation, we charge a deposit of 30% of the total cost, and we ask you to transfer this within 10 working days. - In case of a non-refundable booking, we reserve the right to charge the total amount at the time of booking. - We are a cash-free operation, cash payments are not possible. Others - The Family Hideaway is a non-smoking house. - Pets are allowed by arrangement.
